Did not expect the back part of the sofa to be a piece of metal and light fabric covering it, but for the price I can’t complain. Works for its purpose for now but don’t expect it to be durable in the long run. I love the color and am happy with the purchase! (the plastic on the sofa is to protect from my cats scratching). Positively IN LOVE with these sofas! Firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband. I’ve sat on countless sofas at furniture stores and immediately popped up with a “Nope!” So naturally I was nervous at 2k a pop, no cancels or returns and a front door that wasn’t quite 36” wide as needed per the delivery specs. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. They took a few weeks to arrive but came earlier than expected. Delivery was easy- the guys were fantastic. I haven’t tried the sleepers- they’ll serve their need eventually.
