After researching a lot of options, I chose this safe due to its greater capacity to resist higher temperature fires and standing for several days in water, as well as its certification for holding small firearms. it's a compact size with a heavy-duty design. The extra mechanical keys are great to have in case there is a problem with the electronic keypad. The shelves are padded and there is additional storage in the inside of the door. The safe arrived damaged from the carrier. I was assured by Sanctuary that the safe left their warehouse in perfect condition so they could do nothing to help me. Very nice steel gun safe. We have military and law enforcement in the family so this will come in extremely handy keeping things safe. I just wish it was slightly larger, but it will work for now. Solid basic safe. Works well. I can store plenty of items. I like the back up key and battery features. Manual doesn't describe the back up battery feature but after searching the web, discovered I can connect a 9v battery directly to a port to temp power the keypad. Nice.. Philip. Illinois.
