The tables came assembled. They have the look I was going for (rustic/industrial) at an amazing price. One of the back legs on the taller nesting table was a half inch shorter than the others. A couple of felt pads under fixed the problem, however it still seems a little unsteady. Still I am happy with my purchase because of the low price.

I like these tables but I did not expect the wood planks to be painted. I thought it would be a raw wood but they aren't- another color is applied to the top of the planks. Also, one of the planks on the larger table was not seated all the way down in the metal frame and was higher than the other planks. I hit it hard with the palm of my hand to make it flush and that solved that problem, however, there is a larger gap in the wood that I find a bit unasthetically pleasing between 1/2 of that plank and the one next to it. No biggie- I'll get used to it. These tables are also a bit lighter than one would expect but they ARE nesting tables so I guess it would defeat the purpose if they weighed a million pounds. ;) Overall I DO like this set and I AM keeping them. Notice the 4 stars. They're nice and cute- they're just a little bit different than I had in my mind's eye. Glad to have them anyhow.
