The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Lift and unfold the extension piece to create the additional length. Why not pair these with any of our matching wooden cross back chairs for a sleek look? This is a great table! We love playing pool and ping pong so it’s been great! It’s very heavy and solid so we were unable to move it into our basement. Overall very nice table but there are so many little dings and some of the paintstain was not done well. The most frustrating part is that it came without the hardware.
