A revolutionary Moka that combines the technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, Pulcina encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that stops dispensing the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of this drink. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker) allows it to perfectly stop the drop.

I get many compliments of this coffee pot. It’s sitting on my stove. It makes good coffee. Also it doesn’t match up correctly when it’s put together on one side that’s the only thing I don’t like about it. I wish I would’ve sent it back for another one.. Vicki. US. Mon Feb 09 2026

The successful and iconic design family named "Mediterraneo'' has been translated into new types of kitchen utensils (jars and a hook) and bathroom items (all-purpose container, soap dish, and toothbrush holder).

9090 is the first espresso coffee maker in Alessi's history, but also the first of several Compasso d'Oro awards and the first Alessi item exhibited at the MOMA in New York. "I wanted to give this machinery the features that others do not have." With these words Richard Sapper described the idea from which he started. 9090 is original not only for its special shape but also for some functional innovations such as the enlarged base that allows to maximize heat, the anti-drip spout and the lever lock that allow one to open the coffee pot with a simple gesture of the hand.

Graves's formal language combines ideas taken from European tradition, Art Deco, American pop art, and memories of pre-Colombian cultures. The American designer also can bewitch the general public like a few other designers in the Alessi catalog.

Definitely overpriced for what it is, has a nice weight to it but the plastic parts are cheaply made. I would not recommend buying this when their are so many better options.. Share. Longview, TX. Sun Feb 15 2026

This was exactly what I wanted. Even though this was an open box order, the pot was in new condition. The box was a little beat up but I expected that, more or less.. Victoria. New York, NY. Thu Jan 08 2026

Following the typical minimalist approach that features in all Jasper Morrison's work, this design is an attempt to reduce the "cutlery-object" to its barest essence, its purest and most customary form and what might tentatively be called its definitive form, and deliberately stripped of all stylistic value and - perhaps precisely because of this - recognizable as Morrison's work.

this is a nice product- does the job and good weight. Leslie. Grosse Pointe Park, MI. Thu Dec 31 2015

The pots of the Mami collection, created by the designer Stefano Giovannoni, are a hymn to the soft and rounded shapes of the tools that make up the Italian tradition and from which the delicious scents of Sunday lunch for the whole family spread throughout the house. The Mami pot set is made of stainless steel 18/10, with a glossy finish.

Designed by Riccardo Delisi, the Caffetteria con Cuore e Stelle (coffee pot with heart and stars) is an enchanting work of art and design that celebrates one of the most brilliant examples of a poetic attitude to design. It is the reproduction of one of the over two hundred prototypes created by Dalisi during the design process that led to the production of his Neapolitan coffeepot in the 1970s, each one different from the last, and gradually more and more expressive to the point of losing any functional appearance and becoming pieces of art.

“Pepa” Hors-D'oeuvre dish in 18/10 stainless steel, designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Clotet. The name of the Hors-D'hoeuvre dish is a homage to the characters from the novels of the poet Foix, who in turn lends his name to the pioneering tray from this collection.

Beautifully finished- the compartments are enough for differnt condiments to serve at least a party of 4. Lorraine. Santa Fe, NM. Wed Aug 19 2020

Designed by Michael Anastassiades, the Menhir espresso coffee maker has an absolute line. The name Menhir immediately brings to mind the power of a form with great emblematic presence: “long stones” carefully positioned in the landscape, probably associated with religious ceremonies or other rituals, the menhirs inspired this iconic tool, used for one of the most important modern daily rituals; that of making coffee. Dedicated to those who appreciate exquisite manufacture: A real workshop gem.

Born in La Spezia in 1954, Stefano as an architect and designer was taught by Buti at Florence University. In the early 80’s he founded the King-Kong production group along with Guido Venturini. A technical designer par excellence he has industrial design in his DNA and the capacity to understand public sentiment like no other designer mentioned in this catalog. His projects began with the Girotondo (1989 designed by Guido Venturini) and the first transparent objects in plastic from the family follows fiction series (1993). There is a huge number of his items in the Officina Alessi, Alessi, and a di Alessi catalogs.

Look forward to freshly brewed, wonderfully aromatic coffee. The Zwilling Sorrento plus French press not only makes doing so incredibly simple but in incredible style too. The French press is a coffee plunger that can also be used as a serving pot whose puristic design makes it a highlight on any table. It goes particularly well with our elegant Zwilling Sorrento cups, which, like this French press, are also designed by Studio Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez. Using this French press is especially easy: Freshly ground coffee is brewed in the press before the sieve is pushed downwards to push the coffee to the bottom. And thanks to its premium-quality, double-walled borosilicate glass, the French press keeps coffee hot for an especially long.

Love this! Perfect size for 2 large cups of coffee. The inner layer keeps the coffee hot for a long time, while the outer layer keeps it cool to the touch.. Lindsey. West Hartford, CT. Wed Jul 29 2026

Designer Jasper Morrison created a set of pots with an ambitious goal, to combine sophisticated design, materials quality, and high functionality.

These pots were a good find. They are lighter and they are easy to clean when compared to the other brands. Of course, they cook better and they heat up fast. All in all, these are the pots and pans I really need. Glad I found them.. Alice. Reston, VA. Sat Apr 08 2023

Attentive to the narrative capacity of objects, the Sicilian architect Mario Trimarchi designed Ossidiana espresso coffee maker. A project created, like the other ones of the designer, from memories and fragments of images narrated through an object's form.

The cutlery set was designed by the English architect David Chipperfield. Attention to continuity of form makes the grip soft and the design startling, despite its apparent simplicity.

I ordered one set to check the weight. It was very satisfactory so I ordered 5 more sets.. Anonymous. Massachusetts. Sun Sep 01 2024
