I bought it for my bedroom. It’s bigger than I thought. Yes, I know the measurements were included but it only looks big when laying under it. From my doorway it seems like a normal size. On high, it’s amazing, it does have a slight swing and “tick” when on high but it’s minimal. Super quiet. Can’t believe I waited so long to replace my old one. I like that the smaller drum can easily be unscrewed to clean it from dust. I bought the shortest rod length because I wanted it close to the ceiling. Came with light bulbs as well which I thought I read they weren’t included. Have the option for remote or wall switch. I added the remote but might remove as my wall switch won’t work with remote. I wanted a "girly" ceiling fan and light for my MBR, and this is the one I chose. Yes, the metal color is a bit brassy-pinkish -- some would say borderline tacky/campy -- but I like it for "glamming up" my bedroom. The crystals are beautiful and the 40 or so large, weighy spheres took about 45 minutes for me to attach after the elecrician removed the older fan and installed this one. The long crystals came pre-installed, with a couple extras included in case of breakage. The fan uses a remote and has 6 speeds, moving a surprisingly impressive amount of air. The LED lights have several different colors and brightnesses. The fan runs quietly and has no balance issues thus far (it's only been a week). The clear blades fold away neatly on top of the light fixture when the fan isn't being used. IF you are looking for an understated "elegant" fan/light, this might be over the top. It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light.
