I love the various positions in which this lamp can be placed. Originally it was located on my desk, but seems we are constantly moving it around for a different use. When I first saw the small size of the base, I was afraid that the lamp would be a tipping problem. But the base, though small enough to fit in your hand to add extra support when moving, provides a perfect weight for the lamp.
