The veneer work reminds me of Lane, the ease of assembly reminds me of La-Z-Boy, and the solid construction reminds me of Hooker. So we basically got the best attributes we were looking for. This sweet console exceeded my expectations. It was well packaged and arrived quickly. No problems assembling. Except for the hardware, you'd think it was an antique. Lovely wood grain and fabulous little details, worth every penny I paid and more. I got it in the nutmeg brown, which is a mid-dark tone; it fits well with my transitional style; I have a mix of furniture pieces--from antiques to, well, purchased-from-Wayfair.
