Read before hanging!!!

I really like these shelves!! I ordered four of them so I could hang two side by side and then the other two parallel to them. Now that they are up I love them!! But I will say we had a difficult time putting them up. My husband was having a heck of a time getting them to line up perfectly. He kept measuring and remeasuring and couldn't figure out where he made the mistake...here, we assumed that the screw holes on the backside were even and we were the ones making the mistake...when in reality the holes were not lined up!!! We had to adjustment our measurements according and then my hubby was able to get them on the wall perfectly. Next time we will not make any assumptions that the product is perfect! The other thing - I purchased these shelves with the thought that I was going to overlap picture frames. As it turns out, there is not enough room on the lip to overlap....unless my frames were especially thick - which I don't think is the case.!! But like I said before, once the shelves are up they look awesome!
Beautiful product for displaying childrens books

I purchased two of the longer, espresso brown picture ledges for my toddler's bedroom. I wanted to get his books out of the drawer and display them on the wall. I mounted them lower so he can reach the bottom one, and I help him with the upper shelf. Re-doing his bedroom was expensive we purchased almost everything from Pottery Barn Kids, and although these picture ledges were not expensive, they compliment the room in a great, functional way. I wish I could post a picture like you can on other sites! The only thing I would advise is to measure well, as the screws need to line up perfectly on the wall. Just use a measuring tape and don't eyeball it. Also, my wall is white and there was some transfer of brown from the shelf onto the wall when it came time to lining it up and placing them on the wall. This might sound funny, but if I were to do it again, I would wrap the shelf loosely with a layer of Saran Wrap. The color is a true espresso brown and I find the quality to be acceptable for the price! Cheers--
Great Customer Service

Two if the four shelves I ordered were great but one was damaged and the fourth was the wrong product (it didn't match the others). I found the online return process confusing and frustrating so I called customer service. I was so please with the customer service over the phone. They understood the issues, apologized and sent two replacements at no charge and did not require me to send back the broken/incorrect items. Very hassle free... Just make sure you call instead of dealing with returns online.
Black Picture Ledge

I wanted to do a photo wall like I had seen on Pinterest. The project turned out beautifully with these ledges. There is a small lip to keep the photos from coming off and you can just move photos around or change them out when desired. I would have given them a 5 star rating but one of the ledges looked like it might have been returned and was shipped without the original packaging. They just put tape around the box and it didn't protect the shelf. When I got it it was scraped, gouged and chipped in a number of places. I wanted to finish the project and didn't want to take the time to return it so I just kept it and painted over it.
Very pleased with this product

I purchased two shelves to display books in my son's room and it turned out to be an inexpensive upgrade that looks fantastic. I did have to measure well, however, because of the way the screws need to line up perfectly with the keyhole openings in the back. They do feel nice and sturdy on the wall to me. The color is a true espresso--very dark. You may want to cover the shelf with maybe Saran Wrap while aligning with the anchors screws, as sliding it along the wall made for some transfer of brown finish on my wall. Overall, very pleased with these picture ledges.
Narrow picture ledge
Kimberly from Nashua, NH– Verified Buyer
These picture ledges are a great bargain for the money, but are a little hard to line up if you plan on putting several end to end. We used a level( I'm OCD) bad move,as the ends aren't all even. They still look grey! Also look fantastic when used for large art or posters- allows you to change them out as you want to w/ out ruining your walls (hint:great for teens posters in poster frames)
Looks good. Pain to hang

I like the way they look. My husband would have given a lower rating .first he had to re glue one shelf because it wasn't together.later he had to reglue the other one when it came apart. Also the anchors provided would not hold in our walls.

I ordered 2 of these shelves to hang above our couch in my living room and they look great! I have received quite a few compliments on how nice they look and you cannot beat the price!
Looks nice but has flaws

I ordered four of these ledges in white to serve as bookshelves in my baby's nursery. They look great, but the anchors aren't sturdy enough to hold the weight of the ledge (and we made sure to follow the directions exactly!) without even adding the books. We predrilled the holes for the anchors to 316, installed the anchors (a very tight fit) and the screws, and then watched the first ledge sag a bit. After taking the ledge off of the wall, we could see that the anchor was already being pulled out from the weight of the ledge. We'll be drilling these directly into the studs instead.

I ordered 3 of these picture ledges to make a display in our family room. The quality is wonderful for the price. I had been looking at other retailers and couldn't find anything that compared. They were not difficult to hang and look fantastic. Very on trend.
