I bought these Atlantic cd racks to go with the Atlantic dvd racks I purchased previously. I wall-mounted mine, and the cd racks will also go on the wall, next to the dvd racks. Both will be flanking the flat screen tv, which will be centered on the wall. I don't have a lot of floor space for large cabinetry units, so minimal wall mounted units were the best choice for me. I liked the black finish steel racks, because they are slim, "disappear" when filled, and are very clean looking. Other reviews stating that the units weren't stable on the floor, presenting a tipping problem probably would apply if I wanted them to be free standing, but I wanted them specifically to wall-mount, and they are perfect for that. Currently, my tv is still on a small rolling unit. When I finally get the wall-mounting arm for the tv, the whole system, racks, tv, recorders, etc. will be attached to the wall, and will streamline the entertainment center, a must for me because of my room dimensions. I work in a very large church and we have a large CD collection that kids can check out. The floor unit we were using did not work well. We needed an update. I came across this CD storage unit in a catalog and this one works the BEST!!! Functional, attractive, and everyone comments on how nice it looks on the wall in the Youth Room. Absolutely beautiful!! Not onlt does it hold tons of DVD's, with the adjustable shelves you can store some VCR tapes or "special edition" sets as well. We even have some music CD's and computer games on a shelf. It's relatively easy to assemble and since our plasma TV is wall mounted, it's only fitting that our DVD storage system also "floats" on the wall. You won't be disappointed."..."  Read more
