I bought this stand to fit in the middle of a very nice modern style entertainment center that I had bought in 1999. My wood entertainment center is medium golden brown with a dark grain throughout. The company that made my center is no longer in business, so I couldn't get an exact wood match on a new tv stand. My center has two tall cabinets with dark glass doors. I set each cabinet on each side of this stand and enclosed it with the two wood shelves that were part of the original center; one shelf connecting the tall cabinets on their tops and the other directly on top of this tv stand under my new tv and up tight to the two cabinets. The stand fits perfectly, and appears like it was actually built into my old center. The complete center looks great; the black stand pulls out the dark wood grain of the center and the dark glass on the stand is a match to cabinet glass as well. I definitely recommend this stand as it is well made and was in excellent condition upon arrival to us in Tennessee. Very, very happy indeed!"..."  Read more

[...] It was pretty heavy so it probably requires 2 people to just carry the box. Assembly was quite easy as there are not too many parts. I assembled the stand myself in roughly 45 minutes. This stand comes with plenty of different sized screws to attach to the back of your TV, so there should be no worries in terms of mounting the TV. Mounting the TV to the stand is easy, but probably should be done with 2 people as well just to be safe. Also, the stand is pretty heavy-duty, which means it's fairly heavy so moving it around isn't the easiest chore. However, I don't see the weight as a con, as I wouldn't want my TV being mounted on something that was flimsy.Looks great with my new 55" TV, and the materials are built solidly. Overall I'm pleased with Veneto TV stand. The finish is a dark, almost Mocha color which is what I expected from other reviews and as was advertised. There is ample room for all of my entertainment equipment. There are openings for cords and cables for the lower compartments of the stand. The upper shelves just under the stand top have optional openings that can be cut out for cables/cords if desired. The stand is heavy, sturdy and was easy to assemble. The only negative comment I have is that a back corner of the stand top was mildly crushed. I knew that was a rsik from other reviews I read prior to ordering. This seems to be a vulnerability in the way the unit is packaged. The rest of stand was undamaged and in excellent condition including the glass doors. Installation of doors/hinges was straight forward and painless. Outside arriving with one small area of minor damage that is in out of sight location, the stand is stylish, sturdy and functional."..."  Read more

I spent alot of time looking for the best stand for my 61' LED DLP. Pros: -This stand looks great with the 2007 samsungs. -It' has plenty of room for the TV and all the components. It also fit my very big center channel which was a huge plus for this stand. -It came together easy, but did take 2-3 hours to put together. -It looks good with or without the doors. Cons: -The finish was good and it came in good shape. Not much of a con, but I was actually hoping for a little more 'distress' the stand is pretty much all black with some small sections where the stain is lighter. -Wire management was also lacking, but fixable. The stand is big enough to hid most of the wiring for your components, but to get wiring from the center shelves to the outer shelves, you have to go outside the back panel of the stand and then back in. This can quickly start looking messy. I ended up putting two 2.5" holes in the partitions. This kept routing inside the stand."..."  Read more
