I purchased this cage for my cockatiel and it is perfect! It is not a heavy duty cage but is more than strong enough for a cockatiel. My bird is so much happier with all the space he plays and sings so much more than he did in a smaller space. He also loves the open top although it did take several months for him to really feel comfortable climbing around and using the top space. My only minor complaint is that I'd love a couple more doors for food and water. Overall I think this cage is a really great value for a smaller bird."..." Read more

We bought two cages that we put our parrots in while we are RV'ing. They are very sturdy and a good size so the birds can spread their wings! Bogey and Sam also like the top perch to sit on durring their play time too.
They are easy to put together, just like their full size cages of which we have two for the house.
