However, the material used for the top is not wood and the finish scratches easily. The frame is solid steel and is strong enough to handle heavy items. Nancy from CT	4.0 2/8/2011 STACKING TABLE I use this table in the corner of my Sectional sofa. I was a bit surprised to only receive one as the description and picture shows 4 stacked together. I expected to recieve all 4. We love it. It is wonderful for the laptop, a glass of wine or even dinner. It, however, does not fit over the arm of the sofa, just the front.
