The Volcano Flower Collection
These wooden flowers grow on the volcanic sloped in Guatemala. The Mayan people call them "roses of hell" because they were the only flowers which grew in the "lower world" and were able to escape to the beautiful sunlit, upper slopes of inactive volcanoes. These volcano flowers are cast in Comp Clay from original specimens collected by local Mayan natives.
