I purchased this for my son's 2nd birthday. I got a lot of resistance from my husband on buying our son a kitchen because he is a boy. After we got it and he seen our son playing with it, my husband was glad I was persistent. I spent three weeks going to different stores and reading reviews before I made a decision on this kitchen. This kitchen has everything that most of the other kitchens have. I originally wanted the larger model kitchen, however, I am glad that I got this one because it has everything. I was focused on making sure all of the appliances were there, microwave, stove, sink, oven, refrigerator, etc. The only thing missing is the dishwasher. The green countertop gives the appearance that this kitchen is not only for little girls. Having this kitchen set at his young age, gives us the chance to really teach him all of the food groups and how mommy and daddy cook prepare meals.

My daughter just turned 3yrs old and received her kitchen 2 days before her birthday. She was very excited about the kitchen and just loves it! Even some of the older children play with the kitchen. It is very realistic,sturdy,and has an appealing design to it. The children love to cook and wash dishes. They even have a hand towel that they keep in their kitchen. I purchased the Lifestyle Deluxe Kitchen Set for my 18 month old daughter and she absolutely loves it. The assembly took some time but it went quickly with an electric screwdriver versus a manual screwdriver. My daughter loves the little telephone and the burner that makes the sizzling and boiling sounds when you place a pot on top. I purchased additional play food items for the kitchen so that helped to add hour and hours of excitment.
