some issues but great end result

we purchased this desk, plus a matching (color) tv stand. i was a little timid to assemble the desk by myself after reading the other reviews. it wasn't really as difficult as described! there were three small issues that i had while assembling. one piece (the underside of the cubby compartments) was not labeled but was easy to figure out while looking at the pictures. the instructions also tell you to put the magnetic clasp on backwards. i'm glad i jumped a few pictures ahead to see that would simply not work. you have to place the magnetic clasp facing out so it will connect with the metal piece on the small door to close off the cubby holes. and the last issue i had was thinking i had the two side pieces on backwards since the unfinished sides were facing out. what the instructions fail to tell the assembler is that there are two pieces that fit on the side to cover up the unfinished wood. no need to disassemble! other than that, it only took me about one and half hours to work on and complete. not bad at all and the perfect size for what we need!

For the price I can't complain much. Takes a few hours to put together. Material is nothing but partical board. We shall see how long it lasts.

We are enjoying our desk. It looks very nice once all put together. It was a little challengeing, but we figured it out. The desk seems to be very sturdy. Over all we are satisfied with this purchase for the price.

Item did not say it requires a lot of assembly. Really hard to build, took me 3 days to put it together.
