I have been looking for a replacement for my shower bench for four years. The prior chair was bent in moving, and that forced me to use sponge bathing all this time. I had a "dream list" of what I wanted in a new shower chair, but never thought I could find them all in one chair. The I-Fit Chair met every one of my wishes for a new chair, and actually had two I hadn't thouht about. Love this shower chair. My husband had a CVA in June and has lost the use of his left side. No longer in need of transfer bench or shower chair transfer on a wet surface-just roll in and roll out. Only negative would be the front wheels do not lock. Would recommend this product to anyone who does not want to transfer from wheelchair to shower chairs. I tried a padded shower bench at the hospital, I did not like it as it felt slippery and not clean. With this shower bench the water runs right off on to the floor of the shower.
