SKB Rolling Shockmount Mac Pro Tower Case - 1SKB-R04MAC

I own two of these - one for my Mac Pro and one for my old G5. The install fit is tight, so you may scratch the side corners of your computer's case a little getting it in. It's a tradeoff I'm willing to live with considering how well protected my computers are once inside these cases. The SKB elastomer shock mounting system seems more robust and durable than the foam rubber surrounds found in plywood shock mount racks, plus you have extra airspace around the computer for heat dissipation. The SKB roto molded cases are also much lighter than comparably sized plywood rack cases and they stack well with any size SKB roto rolling shock mount racks. You can also remove/install the lids while they're stacked, which is super handy. The built in wheels and pull handle are real life saver when it comes to transporting these, and they easily fit through a standard width doorway. Remove the lids and the computer is ready to use. Much easier and takes up less space than always packing an unpacking the computer from the original factory cardboard shipping box. My only real complaint is that when these cases are new, you can really smell the plastic - although it's not nearly as bad as something like new carpet.
