My parents' original flatware from the '60's was Reed and Barton, impressed with this quality set and seems the company (acquired by Lenox in the 2000's from what I understand) has maintained their great quality over the years.. I like these so much I might order another set, just in case. They are very pretty. The style is "French Country" of course but they are understated enough not to look theme-y or fussy at all. The actual set I received was slightly different than what is pictured. The very round shaped spoons is what had first drawn me to this set, but what arrived was much more the traditional spoon shape, a slight let down. That being said, the set is incredibly nice otherwise. They are balanced well and have a great weight to them, when holding any of the pieces, it's quite obvious they are quality utensils.
