Compact silverware case
Susan from Tiny, ON– Verified Buyer
This is a compact case. If your knives have very large handles, you might have trouble getting all of them into this case. It holds my ten place settings. I plan on getting another case, exactly the same, for the serving pieces individual & master butter knives, seafood forks, serving pieces, etc. (Can you imagine Times sure have changed!) I will just ignore the slots in the middle and put the serving pieces on either side. Then I can neatly stack the cases in a drawer and setting the table for special occasions will be easy. In the meantime, my silverware will be protected from scratches and tarnish - better than the zip lock bags I was using. I chose this case because I do not have room to display a wooden chest, and I wanted to store the silverware in a drawer. I find I am using my silverware more often because it is so easy to take the case to the table. I polished the pieces once, and do not want to have to do that again anytime soon. After a very humid and hot summer, the pieces look like I just polished them. Even when full & heavy, the case is sturdy. This is the perfect solution for me.

not too heavy, holds a complete set, wish it came in a larger size because I still have some more pieces to store!
Good value for the price.

Attractive, well-constructed and compact. Although the description states that it holds a service for 12, I can't figure out how that's possible. I have a service for 8 with a narrow design and it barely fits. If you have wide pieces or long knives this case is not for you.
