QisDesign Be Light Table Lamp

The BE Light, is an LED desk lamp that folds and sports a unique articulated design. With its clever hinge design, it can be fully extended to a height of 33.4 cm, and an angle of up to 135 degrees. It also provides adequate task lighting with white LED. When not in use, it can be folded down flat to a minimum height of 1.8 cm, taking up the least amount of space on a desk. As with QisDesign's other LED lamps, the BE Light also adopts light guide technology to evenly distribute the LED light, eliminating all concerns over glare. Made of aluminum alloy, the BE Light is lightweight, yet sturdy. The refined metallic finish gives the BE Light a sophisticated and stylish feel. The art of folding a flat sheet of paper into a sculptural three dimensional form, has for centuries fascinated people with its sophisticated precision and simplicity. Inspired by this traditional art form, the BE Light itself becomes a sculptural three dimensional work of art. Instead of using traditional paper, the Be Light makes use of metal, lending it a permanence. When not extended, it has a flat, modern, yet understated appearance. The carefully engineered light, when extended, becomes adjustable thanks to an arm that can easily be stretched open as if it were a folded piece of paper. The counterweight design enables the arm to stand firm and steady, instilling a sense of tranquility and simplicity into this motional feature.
