This is a God send! My mom has mobility issues and this ramp has made a huge difference in her independence and confidence. She's using a walker and her first words were 'Stairs won't stop me now'. Made my heart smile!! Only 4 stars only because on the directions were very sparse. The diagrams didn't make the ramp I bought. It didn't even list the number of items you should have - bolts, washers, nuts, etc. You had to just hope you had the right number. Thank goodness I did. I had a friend come help finish it up and mount it. Took probably about 2.5 hours. Not hard, just double checking it was done right since directions were not clear. I ordered 2 of these for our shed. They were delivered July 26, 2025. They both made crackling sounds when walking on them, but they were good height and fit perfectly. Worked well for a little over a month (of course, just long enough to miss the return policy window). Now, one of them literally collapses when you step on it, so it’s basically unusable for getting our yard equipment into the shed. Very disappointed, especially since the item is not returnable now. I came up just a few inches short and needed a second order to get 100% coverage across the garage entrance. Why is this important - without 100% coverage, there would be a gap under the garage door where insects/vermin could enter. Also, if your garage door were to come down on this ramp, your automatic garage door opener's setting may cause the door to not close, but come back up, believing it hit an obstruction - so make sure you have the capacity and instructions available to adjust those settings. We purchased this along with 3 other Modular pieces. It was a monster to assemble : we had to call the company because one part on the switchback just would not connect.
