We have a large old-fashioned kitchen with an odd wall and overhang right above our commercial style stove. Rectangular or round pot racks would not fit, or look right. It was a challenge finding just the right look and type of rack that would fit and have enough hooks and area to handle our pots and pans. This is a very sturdy really good looking pot rack. Comes mostly assembled except for hanging the plentiful hooks where you want them, and hanging the chains. It was very easy to install, and it evenly distributes the weight of our cast iron pots and pans. It looks beautiful and very expensive plus holds our set of LeCreuset and some other large frying and saute pans, plus we have a large paella pan sitting on the top of the grate on the rack. I love the way this rack looks in my little kitchen. There was not enough room for a hanging rack - but I had wall space. This rack is simple but decorative and fits well. We drilled an extra hole so that spacing would fit into studs - you need this to handle the weight. We purchased longer screws for added stability. We also added a tiny piece of weather stripping inside the hooks so they don't pull of the rack when pans are removed. There is a very generous amount of hooks of each type - you own't need to order extra's. I would have given a 5 star had longer screws, and or stud spacing been included. Would be great if hooks had 'grippers' too."..." Read more

I replaced a smaller pot rack with this one and this pot rack is very solid and well built. I currently have ten pots and pans with there lids hanging from this rack, and still have room for various utensils to hang.
