I opted for two of this size rather than the larger volume because of the design. The ~ 1 liter size is perfect -- not too heavy when full, good balance when pouring. A larger size might be cumbersome because of the additional weight of the glass. Each jug is unique, with some variation in glass thickness. Although the metal cap doesn't fit one as well as the other, this is not a problem since the silicone seal blocks all water leaks. I found that the tip lid sometimes sticks, but I suspect this is due to the minerals in my water. Overall a nice jug that serves both everyday and more formal dining purposes."..."  Read more
