I was looking for some solid steps for my kitties because they are large cats & the plastic onesare not sturdy enough. These steps are nice & big & solid. Even my husband was impressed when he was putting it together. My only design suggestion would be to secure the tallest step to the next tallest step somehow because the tallest step kinda needs a little security so it won't pull away from the base. We use a tie wrap for each cylinder to tie the tallest one to the next tallest one. Otherwise it was a Purrrrrfect choice & the rugging is a nice color. A very well made product. We & the kitties are very happy with it! They LOVE to just sit on the top step & look around & the steps are nice & wide enough for a big cat. Thank you !!! :):)"..."  Read more

When our 5-year-old Beagle started having back pain this past year, I knew I wanted to do something to make getting up and down from the bed easier for him. I knew I wanted to buy a set of pet steps, but so many of them I saw in stores or on-line seemed so cheap and borderline hazardous. Not so with these. I doubt you will find a sturdier set of pet stairs on the market. True, they are a bit on the expensive side, but they are worth it. The selling point for me was the size of these steps. The stairs themselves are a nice height and deep--they mimic the dimentions of the stairs in our house almost perfectly, so it was an easy adjustment for Buddy to start using them. Granted, he doesn't always use them, but that is more an issue with me not being as strict about it as I should. With a little training, I have no doubt anyone could train their dog to use these rather easily. If you're looking for sturdy, well-constructed pet steps that your dog will use and won't be an eye sore in your home, look no further!"..."  Read more

I purchased these stairs for a kitty just beginning to show signs of age. He took to it immediately. This is a solid, good looking set of pet stairs well worth the investment. I tried another kind (purchased at Walgreens) and those were flimsy and collapsed so easily, I returned them. The construction of this product was impressively stable and strong enough for me to be confident in my pet using it. The little rugs on each step are not only pretty, but keep his sharp back feet from scratching the wood. I've seen others recommend this product for dogs (as well as the picture), but my old cat took to it right away. The younger ones now use it, too. The stairs have now been used by multiple cats, but they remain clean and nice looking. I feel I could clean these stairs easily, if need be."..."  Read more

This one is for the couch and the bigger one is for the bed, I got my first little dog and she couldnt get on the couch and know she run up the stairs on to the couch with no problem.The bed will always be to high for her to get up on(she brake her neck its so high)now I feel better knowning she can get there by herself and join the cats.
