Got this for my husbands sunroom office. The fabric is soft and smooth, although it’s a faux leather it feels like a microsuede. The black is a matte mid black/dark grey versus a dark black. Did quite a bit of research for an ergonomic chair for my home office and finally settled on this one. Easy to put together. I have used it 2 days now and I really like it.
