I was really happy to find these coffee table and end tables as I wanted something in black and had to have drawers. Couldn't find anything like it in Canada. When I rec'd the items, we found that they had many scratches on them and the black paint/coating was not sprayed evenly. So, some looks black and some looks brown. In one place they used black felt pen to try to cover up the spot that was missed and it gives that shiny look you get from a black felt pen. A couple of hardware pieces missing and one back panel. I am trying to get ahold of the company that makes them and of course I am having trouble getting them to get back to me. I rec'd these on Dec 29, 2010 and have contacted them twice and have heard anything back and you only have 30 days to report problems. Not impressed. The one thing I do like is the style of the tables but needs improvement on the workmanship. Obviously no Quality Control at the company. Still waiting to hear from them. HELP!!!!

This is a very simple, elegant/polished looking piece of furniture. Fairly simple design offers a lot of organizing space. Cons:1. The packaging from Linon was very bad. Both my center table and side table arrived in a haphazard condition with foam just spilling out all over my carpet and stuck to every piece of the furniture. Just cleaning it and throwing away the packaging material took a long time.2. Don't expect an [...] like finish. I could see obvious places where they arbitrarily decided to not finish the wood, because the place is hidden or out of view. Similarly, the screws, panels, sliders etc are all a bit rough, not designed to fit perfectly and do not exactly assemble intuitively. More than once I found the instructions to be confusing the reader rather than helping. But once assembled it all looks good from the outside and performs well enough for me.

Good coffee and end table set. Looks nice and easily put together. Scratches and stains very easy though.

Only bad thing is that you have to put it together, but it has to get mailed somehow! I heart my coffee table
