it arrived all beat up. a couple of corners were broke. not good conditions

Not as easy to put together as Ikea; vague directions. Very poor finish that had large bald spots. Arrived with several scratches and chipped corners. Serves its purpose well though, the black hides most imperfections, it is the perfect height for putting your feet up, and the drawers are nice and functional, but overall I am disappointed.

Nice design and very sturdy. The drawers fit nicely and are not flimsy. Height is a little low, but thats not a big issue. The biggest problems are that it collects a lot of dust and finger prints, as well as scratches easily. If you keep it clean, its a real nice table for how much it costs.

The various parts of the table do not fit together properly, so there is a noticeable gap about 1/5 of an inch between the top and one side.

[...] one drawer bottom was totally destroyed apparently before being put in the box. The manufacturer was not very helpful about replacing this part, they do not stock replacement parts. I would be leary about ordering this brand again. [...]

[...] I realized that it's poor quality and scratches WAY too easily. Even light use (i.e. putting down remotes, moving laptop on it) creates ugly scratch marks. I'll be sanding the top down and repainting...and I've only had it like a month!

Used as coffee table in living room. Love the design and sleekness. Was confusing to assemble. Had to repair some chips. Covered the top with glass because finish scratches easily.

Service Review

This took place at the beginning of August 2008. My end tables were delivered and were in great condition. Not so with the coffee table. Two of the edges of the top were broken and split. I emailed Linon Customer Service and received a reply that they would ship another table top to me. They assured me that extra care would be taken with the packaging. About a week later I finally got the new top and when I opened it it was also damaged in the same places as the original. I was pretty frustrated so I called them this time and got no response to my voice mail message. I had to go back to email and again the response was VERY apologetic and they would send me out another top. I asked if it could be sent express delivery since this was my second replacement and was told "No" for whatever reason. The next day I received an email stating that "unfortunately the warehouse was now out of stock on replacement parts and that the expected date of their new shipment was sometime in September." I was offered a different coffee table that they said "was better quality" but it wasn't even close to the two end tables I had already purchased, put together and had in my living room. I expressed my disappointment and anger but asked them to contact me when the new shipment came in. I'm still waiting and I don't expect any communication from them unless I initiate it.

Fits in perfectly with my living room furniture! Great for storage. Easy on the eye! Great find! Great buy! Highly recommended!!
