We actually had a colonial style newer home in Florida in a housing addition or many of the houses looked similar but were different colors. Some of the houses came with a pretty white medallion between the windows on the front porch. Ours didnt, so I purchased this medallion and fixed it to our stucco on the front porch. This medallion is beautiful - I love how it looks with my chandelier. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that you have to cut out the center yourself. For some reason I thought the center came out. It took the guy who installed it *a while* to do it himself. But as my picture shows, it is a beautiful, contemporary look - I really do love it :). This medallion was not only easy to install but it looks great too! It comes in two pieces so that you dont have to remove the fixture and doesnt need to be painted because it looks good on its own. Just use silicone liquid nails and some finish nails to install!!. Kenneth C. Sat Dec 14 2019
