Lasko 36" Tower Fan with Remote Control

I purchased this fan online last week. I bought another one from BB&B as I couldn't wait for shipment due to the temperature in my apartment. We had temps in the mid 80's- 95 degrees in DC and my air conditioner was not working. From BB&B I purchased the Vornado Tower Fan. I guess the name got my attention as it seemed similar to tornado. Well not so much of a wind storm out put, but a relief at the time. Today, my Lasko 36 Tower Fan came!! I met the UPS driver outside, came right in an set it up. Very easy to put together as it comes with 8 screws to attach the base. Right away I noticed the quality difference in the previous tower I have. The Lasko is very sturdy and $30 cheaper then what I have. It also has a handle for easy moving around and the remote can attach to the back to avoid misplacing. Needless to say the other one is going back! It's not even worth giving away, knowing that mother needs one. I will definitely get her the Lasko Tower Fan from Wayfair. My apartment is very cool and I can feel the out put of air from the kitchen area that's around a wall from the living area where I have the tower. I'm sure that if the temperature rises again that I will have better results with this tower than the other. Just going off the miraculous difference since plugging it up!! Fantastic purchase and very happy. You will be too!

This fan is extremely quiet compared with the one it replaced, and cools our kitchen very nicely. Easy to assemble, solidly constructed.
