I bought this to organize my craft items. The shelves arrived disassembled in a box. The directions were pretty clear once I read it through and was able to determine what was meant because the pieces were all separated and labeled logically. I was able to assemble the shelving unit by myself within about a half hour. The shelving unit is much heavier and sturdier than I expected and I am very happy with the quality. These metal shelves are fantastic, they are strong and being metal they don't start to sag like plastic or wood shelves. They are super easy and fast to assemble and this shelf in particular has double markings at certain intervals to make it easy to place the clips for even shelves, usually you have to count lines to make sure you get the plastic brackets in the right place but the double lines made it so easy.
