I love these chairs for my dining room. They are lightweight and comfortable. They are easy for my elderly parents to get in and out of when they are here. We entertain quite often so I need several chairs at times. The fact that these stack and take up next to no space is wonderful so extras chairs are right there when I need them and stack nicely on either side of my window when not in use. Tablet arm is attached to tubular frame with four plated loops and self-tapping screws into eight uniformly drilled holes. Frame: All-tubular design, 1" diameter, 18-gauge steel. The "H-frame" is designed with parallel tubing running from front to back of chair. Front legs of the chair and back support are one continuous tube. Rear legs and seat support are also one continuous tube. Tubing is multiple arc welded at four locations where leg rails and back posts are parallel to each other with a minimum combined total of at least 1.5 feet of total weld, and is done so that the Weids are not exposed. Wallsaver designed. Frame is chrome plated after all welding is complete. Designed to avoid use as a footrest. Standard Chrome Finish: Chrome is comprised of metal layers (Nickel & Chromium) electrostatically bonded to metal. USACAPITOL standard is 4-6 mills (25%-50% more than USACAPITOL competitors) of Nickel. Hard-Chrome will not scratch. CASS test per ASTM B 368 - 22 hours harsh tested before rust. USACAPITOL product is chromed on plateable quality tubing after all welding is completed.
