What a beautiful pan. The weight is great and the size is perfect. The photos I took don't show the beauty of the pan. Item has been backordered so I just received while on vacation; therefore, I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. Appears to be well constructed, has good weight to it for cooking, and stylish design. I thought it had a lid (had looked at several before buying), but due to size can improvise with a lid from my cookware. I had this exact Dutch oven as part of a set, but I got distracted one day and boiled the Dutch oven dry to the point that it super-heated to a glowing red state (NOT good, I know), and when I went to move it, it warped irretrievably and could not be fixed.
