Howard Miller® Radio Controlled Accuwave II Atomic 12.25" Wall Clock

The Howard Miller Radio Controlled Accuwave II Atomic 12.25" Wall Clock is a classic piece that offers accuracy, without compromising on style. The daylight savings time mode is automatically set on this clock. This round shaped clock is numbered and has a sober finish. This wall clock is equally well suited to be placed at home or the office.

This wall clock sets itself automatically and adjusts to DST. This retro modern wall clock is very reliable as it works in relation to the radio signal transmitted to it from the cesium atomic clock, which is the world’s most accurate clock. This clock can easily blend with most home decors. This accurate clock features easy to read black Arabic numeral on a white dial, a black case, and a glass crystal cover. A red second’s hand beautifully complements the black hour and minute hands. The clock is a great example of form meeting function. The clock can be mounted in any room of your home or office.

This Radio Controlled Accuwave II Atomic 12.25" Wall Clock from Howard Miller has a reasonable size that makes it suitable for any home and room. The clock requires one AA battery, which is not included.

  • Easy-to-read white dial with black Arabic numerals, black case, and glass crystal

About the Manufacturer

Incomparable workmanship. Unsurpassed quality. A quest for perfection. It's what Howard C. Miller insisted on when he founded the company back in 1926 at the age of 21. p Even then, Howard Miller understood the need to create products that would be steeped in quality and value. He expected nothing less than the best. And it was only under those strict conditions that he allowed his name to grace every clock manufactured at their sprawling facility in Zeeland, Michigan. p Howard Miller was schooled in the fine art of clockmaking by his father, Herman, in the Black Forest region of Germany. Howard developed into a visionary whose keen sense of innovation spawned a tradition of excellence that has been uncompromised through three generations. p While the early years focused on the manufacture of chiming wall and mantel clocks, Howard Miller also produced trend-setting avant garde clocks that stand today in collectors' galleries. During World War II, Howard Miller joined forces with the Ford Motor Co. to produce anti-aircraft covers. In the 1960s, the company turned its attention to grandfather clocks, eventually earning the company the title of "World's Largest Grandfather Clock Manufacturer." p In 1989, Howard Miller began creating collectors cabinets with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship inherent in their clockmaking. Fashioned from glass and hardwoods, the cabinets are ideal for displaying heirlooms, plates, glassware and other collectibles. p As part of the company's continuing effort to bring customers only the best in handcrafted products, Howard Miller recently acquired three companies: The Hekman Furniture Company produces a strong cadre of carefully sculpted hardwood pieces that range from 18th and 19th Century reproductions, to contemporary products featuring fine metals and exotic woods. The Woodmark Company makes fine upholstered pieces. And the exquisite movement in many clocks we offer is made by Old World craftsmen employed by the Kieninger Company of Germany. p The legacy left by Howard C. Miller isn't an easy one to emulate. But it's the only way we know of doing business. Incomparable workmanship. Unsurpassed quality. A quest for perfection.

Easy to read even from another room!

from Elkton, FL – Verified Buyer

I wanted a clock in the kitchen positioned so that it can also be seen through the kitchen door and into the garage. That way, I can see the exact time I leave home, and the exact time when I pull back into the garage! Others may not be so fussy, but I like to know my departure and arrival times so that I can gauge the time it will take for future trips. Pros: Easy to read, attractive font, great for large rooms. Cons: It would be nice to see an icon (small) that the radio signal has been received, the smaller "atomic" clocks usually have this feature. Perhaps I missed it. It is also pricey. I

    easy-to-read and accurate wall clock

from Scottsdale, AZ – Verified Buyer

Purchased this as a thank you for someone who always has time to lend a hand. The clock is easy to read from across the large room and is accurate eliminating the need to get on a ladder to change for daylight savings time. Pros: accurate, easy-to-read, fairly quiet, sets for daylight savings time automatically Cons: none

Howard Miller Accuwave II Atomic Wall Clock

from Texas City, TX – Verified Buyer

Fantastic looking and functional clock. Reminds me a lot of the old IBMSimplex school, government, and corporate clock systems I grew up seeing. I wasted a lot of time on ebay trying to obtain one of those originals before I came across this modern interpretation. I had to take it outside to receive the atomic signal - but no big deal. It is accurate and fit the bill for me. Love it. I plan on purchasing more of these in the future - for myself and as gifts.

    looks great

Looks great. Using it in a clinical setting. I am using it manually since it does not seem to catch the radio signal. Great price and professional looking .

    Attractive, straightforward atomic clock

from near Philadelphia – Verified Buyer

This is a LARGE display--it's easily readable even from a distance, but it is a little in-your-face in a smaller room. If you like to know the exact time, it's a feature. It's reassuring to look at it and think "this really is what time it is"--instead of worrying if it's a little fast or slow. Totally easy and automatic synchronization--as long as you understand the buttons on the back. They are pretty intuitive, but must be used as directed. If you want a completely analog atomic clock that's easy to read and makes you feel you KNOW what time it is--this is it.
