Grill Maintenance

This grill brush has much longer that usual bristles that reach around the grate better. It also has two sides of bristles, one is steel and one is brass. We needed the brass for our coated cast iron grates on our new Weber grill. A sturdy grill brush with brass bristles is not easy to find. Very well designed and heavy! And the long reach is a real plus. I'm short so the extra length helps keep me further away from the heat. The top is wide so only a few swipes gets the grill clean. I think this brush may last as long as the grill (and our old Weber made it over 15 years before it went to another family who's still using it). The top just screws on and is replaceable - at some point I'll start trying to find a replacement top to store away until some date in the far future when it might be needed. We own a Char-Griller Super-Pro 2121, which is a charcoal grill shaped like a round oil barrel with a "chimney" sticking out. It was very hard to find a durable cover for this grill since most are made for gas grills, which have a different shape.
