This unit is nice to use outdoors for some extra heat on cool evenings outdoors. It is a handsome looking unit too. It is a table top model and that's nice, it's easy to move and store once it's cool. If friends are gathering around the table it provides enough warmth for an area. I like this unit as it was easy to put together and has been easy to light. I didn't want to buy an outdoor firepit because I have asthma, the smoke can choke me up. This provides clean outdoor warmth without the smoke and all the trouble a firepit can cause. Just change the propane cylinder in about 3 hours so have a few cylinders on hand. The big round top does get hot, the word HOT is stamped on the big round disk as a warning.
