We have Minka fans throughout our home. We purchased our, then, new home three years ago. The Minka fans had the remote wall controls and they worked great. We then purchased the hand held controls, to accommodate our wall controls, just a great addition and inexpensive. We replaced the two porch ceiling lights with Minka fans and hand held controls. I wanted to find a wall switch to use with my ceiling fan because I got tired of fishing through my nightstand drawer to get the remote out. When I researched the wall control from Savoy House, it was around [$]. However this control looked identical and was almost 2/3rds cheaper. I was a little worried it might not be compatible with my fan but after doing a lot of research I took a chance and it worked out great.
