Emsco Group, originally the THEO J. ELY company, was founded in 1867. The company's original product lines consisted of products such as wooden mop buckets, mop handles, and related cleaning items, carpet beaters, cross cut saw handles, cow pokes, buggy whips, all considered cutting edge in the mid 1800's. Theo's mantra was to solve problems through innovation and function, always keeping value and customer service in the forefront of his thinking.

They have changed quite a bit since the 1800's, broadening our scope and markets. Through the years, EMSCO Group has maintained a position of outstanding quality and customer satisfaction, which has insured the company's growth, expanding to it's current stature.
