Dog Food Storage

This is a GREAT pet food dispenser. I have 5 dogs and I needed 3 dispensers for 3 different dog food. I ordered the 10 lb size (Size: 20 3/10"tall x 8 2/5"wide x 14 1/2"deep). All 3 fit nicely on the counter. To dispense the dog food, you simple use your right finger to pull an easy lever down and the food comes out into a cup or small bowl. There is no mess. When you release the lever, the food stops. I have been using this product for almost 2 months now and I LOVE it! It has cleaned up those dog food bags and stores the food in a 'Tupperware-type' tub. I bought this because we own three dogs and I buy a 20lb bag of dog food each week. I needed something compact to store the food and keep it fresh..and keep the dogs from helping themselves to the food too! It's the perfect size for a 20lb bag of food and the treat container holds two large bags of dog chewies; there's lots of room for treats. I bought a cat and a dog version of this product. The containers look great together and are well-made. One minor drawback is that they are a bit oversize for smaller pets ie. I don't buy huge bags of food since my dog is only 8 lbs and I don't like storing dog food for that long. Plus the scoops that come with the pails are ENORMOUS and not useful for toy to medium size dogs (or for cats). Because of the extra space, instead of emptying the bag of dog food directly into the container, I just put the bag itself inside the pail and that works for me. I love how this cat food storage can looks! It's so stylish and fancy. Even though the bag my cat's food comes in has a ziplock mechanism when you're in a rush you don't always close it all the way, which I'm sure makes the food not so fresh over time. Plus it's a hassle carrying a huge bag around. These were the most stylish storage cans I could find and I'm really glad I purchased the silver one.
