One needs to arm themselves with good tongs or oven mitts when opening the lid. It fries well and I have had no problems with cleaning or replacing oil.I use E.V.V.O. only. The filter it comes with is useless. Once a good filter is placed this baby does it as any large fryer. Very happy with the item. Was this helpful? Yes / No

This little baby consumes 840watts. It is ideal for a single person and easy to store. It did not come with a proper filter so get one on the side unless you want your kitchen to smell like fried foods. It cooks very well and golden crisp. It makes a generous single portion. I am very happy so far it is the deep fryer with the lowest wattage I was able to find on the market. Service Review Delivered quickly and came packed in two boxes inside one another.
