This is a great hand blender. I just made a huge batch of gazpacho and minced all of the vegies in the chopping attachment. I'm thinking it will most often replace my big Cuisinart food processor. The only disadvantage I can see is that it is a bit heavy and also requires a bit of storage space. I love it.

I wanted this specific model because it was the only one I could find with a plastic attachment for use with non-stick cookware in pureeing soups. I thought the rest of the attachments would be of little use to me, but I was wrong! The chopper attachment is fantastic as an alternative to dragging out the big food processor -- it does a great job and clean-up is a breeze. The rubber base on the beaker and the chopper bowl double as lids which is quite handy for storage. Finally, I like having variable speed and pulse functions, and the handle is easy to hold while pressing the buttons to run it. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.
