colonist from Washington DC, the last colony	5.0 2/7/2011 feels nice, looks nice I was reluctant to replace my old kitchen rug because it was so nice underfoot. I am sorry now I lived with that old raggedy rug as long as I did, because this new one looks so much better! While it is not as soft, the texture is comfortable for bare feet, and the rug is heavy enough to lie flat. It usually resists bunching up as I move about the kitchen, better than the old one did. Although it is a sturdy heavy weave, it is still flat enough for comfort when part of my foot is on the floor and part is on the rug, as when standing at the sink or stove. I was a bit concerned that it might be too dark, since it is mostly black, but the light areas and the contrast make it bright enough to look good. Was this helpful? Yes / No
