I looked at many online retailers and local stores, and never could find what I was looking for until I found this. Gingi from Western MA	5.0 9/19/2011 contemporary throw rug It is hard to find a 12 foot rug runner for the kitchen. This product is colorful and well made. I have had to spot clean it regularly as it is in a heavy traffic area (mostly food spills). So far so good with the spot cleaning using oxi clean carpet cleaner. I do plan to wash it off outside (due to its size) with a good hosing. I do not use a pad as it lies flat on the hardwood. I don't have an issue with slipping probably because it is 2.5' x 12' (?)
