Very nice looking, sturdy, lots of storage room. The only problem is with one of the doors - it is not set in properly and it very very difficult to open. I will have to hire someone to correct this.
Because i am moving from a home with built-in cabinets to one without, my bird collection (hand made by my mother and me many years ago) needed a special cabinet. The Coastal living fit the bill!
Coastal / Tropical: Often
consists of wicker, rattan, or
wood with highlighted wood
finishes and hand painted
details.
Mission / Shaker: Both Mission
and Shaker tables have clean,
spare, rectangular lines.
Traditional: These cabinets
typically resemble a family
heirloom. They are ornate,
detailed, and often have design
elements such as curled handles,
lavish carvings, or scroll work.
Modern / Contemporary: Design
typically characterized by
simple shapes and clean lines.
Country / Farmhouse: These
cabinets are often traditional
in style, but are more
reminiscent of country living.
Generally in medium wood/ivory
colors with details like
spindles, hand-painted accents
(like flowers and roosters).
Rustic / Lodge: Rugged in
appearance, these cabinets call
to mind images of deep forests
and log cabins. Exposed and
rough woods, simple lines, with
worn/distressed or natural
finishes over woods such as
pine, ash or cedar.
Transitional: These cabinets are
a blend of traditional and
modern that fit in with almost
any décor. They feature a
simple, angular look and edgy
construction materials, such as
glass and metal, as well as
classical lines and carved wood
details.
Casual: These cabinets are
typically constructed of medium
color wood and are chunky and
simple in feel.
