I just wanted a bottle with this little flip-type cover on the hinge for the tip; I didn't what the dispenser tip left open. This was perfect. And it doesn't have a removable cap either, which would occupy a free hand to have to remove during cooking. I also didn't want some cheap-looking glass cruet that everybody and their uncle sells. This is a unique bottle, I love the olive color (the walls in my kitchen are dark burgundy, and the olive complements that), and it's incredibly sturdy.
