Very soft and plush. It did well in my washing machine. Aside from one part that looked like it got burnt or something.. but when I put some Shout stain remover it seemed to get rid of the burnt stuff.. but anyway so far I love this comforter. I’ve never had a duvet cover. I’m used to a comforter an occasional blanket so my expectations were low. Plus my body temp runs hot. This duvet is perfect! The 100 cotton works well for hot sleepers. I don't remember how long ago we bought it, but it's been several years and it's still here! We'll be looking for a new one soon because we're ready for a refresh, but this one served us well! Love the weight, pattern and color. It looks great in our room and is a nice, neutral shade. I'm only giving it four stars right now because we haven't washed and dried the comforter yet so I don't know how it will hold up.
