Although we have not been using it very long, this seat is very nice! The latch connectors are very easy to use and my husband was able to connect everything in a short amount of time (similar to installing an infant car seat + the tether). We love the fact that our toddler can rear face for quite a while (45lbs) and it will last through booster. Although you still have to adjust the height of the straps from the back, we found it easier than our infant car seat (we have a Graco Snugride 35). It is a heavy seat, but the folding feature will be nice to travel on an airplane or for compact storage if needed. One thing to note, we drive a Pilot with lots of rear space for this car seat. I can't say how this would work in a smaller car since it does recline quite a bit in rear facing mode. I believe there is a wedge for purchase that helps make the seat more upright for kids a year and up."..." Read more

We are using it rear facing and in our Rav4 it requires a big rolled towel to get a comfortable tilt for our 1 yr old. Without towel because of seat slant, she was very slumped over. It is also a bit difficult to tighten the strap using the tether because it is low on the chair and close to the cars benchseat. But Im sure forward facing it wont be an issue. All convertibles might be this way, I just know on our infant seat it wasnt an issue because the pull strap was very high. The air pads dont bother her or get in the way. We thought they looked so big in the pictures, but using the seat they dont bother us. Overall seems like a good seat. The strap height adjusts easily without retreading which was a big plus to us. Baby rode in the seat for about 40 hrs on Christmas holiday drive and she did great and seemed to like the chair."..." Read more

We use this car seat in our main car, and it is great! A little over whelming at first but once you get the hang of it, it is wonderful. I have used many types of car seats, my family had foster babies, I was a nanny and just babysitting this one is great! Tips make sure you read the directions you will be lost if you don't. It is so easy to put my baby in and get him out. The biggest con is it is huge (I would make sure you try one in you car before you buy it), but if you can deal with that it is worth it!"..."
