I bought this product for the elderly program I work for. Our group had trouble handling the coffee pots. I wanted something to eliminate them and make it easier for making cups of coffee. Unfortunately, it requires special coffee--Coursely ground which seems impossible to find (at least in bulk). You cannot use a filter in the basket. So I am still having to make 2 pots of coffee and then pour it into the urn. It does make serving much easier on the elderly group and keeps the coffee at a good temperature."..."  Read more

I purchased the coffee urn for my esthetics treatment room as there wasn't running water close by and I didn't want to leave clients while I ran back and forth for hot water. I originally left the coffee basket and pump in but it proved to be too noisy so I just took it out and it worked great. Water is VERY hot so I have to have another dispenser of cool water. I find the power cords shortness to be very inconvenient and the energy consumption causes the breaker to flip if I run anything else while it's percolating. Other than that, it holds more than an adequate amount of water, is fairly easy to fill and I'm sure would make great coffee if the need arose."..."  Read more

I home roast and serve my own coffee at my business. This coffee maker has cut my serve time in half due to the large volume of coffee if brews (100 cups max). Wonderful product."

I ordered this coffee maker because we always ran out and just make it once a day (for 2 people) and forget doing it again. It surpasses all the other ones I believe plus I dont see us having to buy a coffee maker again for several years and thats the point. It gets old having to replace them every couple of years it seems. You do have to wait 20 to 25 minutes for the pot to brew so plan accordingly, but worth it in the long run."..."  Read more
