5 weeks, that is how long the motor lasted. First got it and had to tighten almost every bolt, and fix the recoil. Then the motor started to act up. The spitting and sputtering lasted about 20 min and the motor stopped and will not restart. Lastly, I have a question, has anyone got through to customer service and had their problems taken care of

I just bought me one of the sportsman seems to have a good engine so far i sure hope i get more than 3 months , put some of that mobile 5000 10w30 in it 4 dollars a quart dont ya know brother. Well on to another subject the two motor mount bolts on the right underneath were very loose ( and had to get my wrenchs out so i could tighten them down, ok by this time the engine is running smoother right ). Well now i notice 1 of the welds on the inner right end of the control panel is not doin its job. So know I decide to try to take action and call the factory like you are supposed to do that was 3 days in a row by now and they are in no hurry to call me back ( But the engine still runs fine ) Well tomorrow s another day right )

I bought this generator for emergencies. It was easy to get set up and started easy the first time. I have started it several times but have not yet put a load on it. One thing that did not come with the generator is a "ground" - so if you want one - you will have to devise 1. This item is also pretty light -I weight about 110 pounds and have no trouble moving it around. it also runs much quieter than I anticipated.

The Generator itself worked good, but for a short time 3 months. now no start, bad engine. you only get 90 day warranty I don't recommend buying it if you plan to use for a long time.

The generator works as promised. It required a little setup. Once it was setup it wasn't too difficult to start up. Would have been perfect if a quart of oil, ground wire, and pole were included.

I was very skeptical from other reviews but decided to try it out. I am powering a little cabin in the southern Colorado mountains at 8700ft. I first got it and noticed that the generator wasn't very tight to the frame so i tightened everything up. next, i put oil in it. a tough job since it takes one heck of a funnel to reach that hole. I overfilled it, naturally, to the point it actually came out of the exhaust. I then got everything adjusted accordingly and it has run excellent with no problems whatsoever.

I use this generator at our hunting camp. The generator runs the toaster, microwave and coffee machine (one at a time) perfectly. Also used it for power tools (skill saw, small air compressor etc). Runs quietly and powers everything we need.
