The aluminized steel construction distributes the heat evenly throughout the entire pan for more even cooking. The high walls of the baking sheet wrap around the steel frame and are designed to help keep juices and liquids in place when roasting. The nonstick coating is applied to both the interior and exterior of each sheet for easier cleanup as it prevents food from sticking to your pan. The Viking cookie and baking sheets are dishwasher safe, but we always recommend hand washing whenever possible to extend the life and performance of the nonstick coating. We've been using Lloyd Pizza pans for years and when we needed new sheet pans, my husband reminded me we can get Lloyd! I was excited to see them on Wayfair too! They cook well and hold up well over time. They do almost look "used" when they show up...there are usually some marks that look odd, but that is just normal for Lloyd pans (they even say this on the slip in the packaging).
